Passing the Baton – Year 6 Transition Event

Helping our Year 6s grow in faith as they move into Youth.

Big changes are just around the corner - high school, new friends, and new adventures! Passing the Baton is a special four-week program designed to help Year 6 students step confidently into the next stage of their faith journey. Together, we’ll explore what it means to make faith their own, stay connected to God through change, and grow in Christ as they prepare for Youth.

Each week features fun, discussion, and connection with other Year 6s who are moving up too.

Fridays – Nov 14, 28, Dec 5 & 12
6:00–7:00pm (followed by Youth at 7pm)
Room 1 – Launch Kids Room, Riverview Church

FAMILY CELEBRATION EVENT
The program wraps up with a special family celebration on: Sunday, Dec 14 | 12:45–1:45pm
Join us for a relaxed catered lunch and short Passing the Baton ceremony as we celebrate this milestone together.

If your child can’t attend every session, don’t worry — we’ll provide catch-up materials for anything missed.
